Dr. Hauser,

Can we get a link to everyone's Capstone websites on the CS website, or maybe in your class website?

Nuts, I sometimes get notifications of posts here but then sometimes I do not.

I can set up a link on the class web site to the project sites easily.  You can put a redirect in your public-html directory to another site if you wanted to use another.

It is done.   In fact, I put it all on the class home page.  I am trying to figure out how to make a grid of thumbnails of the project web pages instead of the boring list.  Something like what Safari can do.

You may have to take a screenshot (Cmd-Shift-4) of each of the websites and use that.  It wouldn't automatically update, though.  You might try making a frame for each of the sites.  I'm not sure if that could work.  This would probably take to long to load the page anyways.

It might be better/easier if I just had each project send me an icon and I could make a table of them.  I want to do something to make the projects list look good.

How big should the icon be?

Here are two examples that Yuriy and I came up with.  The first is with 200 x 200 pixel icons.  The second is 150x150.

Do the icons have to be images of the webpage, or can they just be the logo?

Like so:

I'm pretty sure it can be whatever you want, I was thinking if everyone had logos it would look better.

The examples that Phil and Yuriy posted come up messed up in my browser.  Did you post HTML that the forum engine is trying to render?

I don't really care whether the icon is any icon or one of the project web site.  It should be whatever the project wants to use to represent it.
